DANCE / INTERNAL EXPRESSION AND THE SEARCH FOR ONE’S OWN MOVEMENT

(Psm)*Movement psychology seeks in this course to explore and deepen both the integration of the connection between movement, emotions and feelings, as well as the search for a personal and personal movement in each participant.

For 5 days you will practically explore a great and very little-known aspect of the creative process in dance: internal expression in movement through a combination of research, development of interpretation techniques, creation and psychophysical awareness.

We will explore in a practical way in the search for our own movement, issues such as: stage presence, work with emotions, psychophysical awareness and listening, improvisation as a tool, deconstructing academics to build, the interpretation of issues, characters or resources expressive through imagination, sound or voice, among others.

Course objectives

This proposal, as an introduction, aims to integrate into the body, “the external aspect”, already known (physical-form-steps), “the internal aspect”, much less known (psychic-background-expression) and often by ignorance worked intuitively, so that it can be delivered fully associated with any choreographic proposal and move the public.

Aimed at

Aimed at people interested in dance as an expression of the human condition and circumstances, preferably with training in contemporary, Spanish or flamenco dance, musical theater, classical ballet, body expression, theater or personal development.

Dates and registration

From July 8 to 12, 2024 (Monday to Friday).
